Oh hey there,

It's been a while since we last checked in and we are starting with goodbye Summer and hello Autumn.

It feels like we snapped our fingers at Christmas, and now we're into the final month of the first quarter for 2021... WHAT!? 😅
We hope everyone is off to a great start of the year. We have hit the ground sprinting, hence why we've been a little quieter with our updates, we hope you missed us 😉

We have some very exciting updates and news so keep reading below to see how much has changed since you last heard from us👇🏻

Late last year our very own LH legend Jess was expecting a bubba. In December her baby boy Lewis 💙 arrived and they’re now enjoying some quality family time for the next 12 months. We'd be lying if we said we didn't miss her in the office but we’re so happy for her as she navigates this new chapter in her life.

With Jess gone and the office slightly quieter than usual, over the past few months we welcomed four new bubbly, enthusiastic and diverse editions to the Leeder House & Co team.

Say hi to Kels, Iza, Ayla and Liv! 👋🏼 ... Wow, that's a mouthful 😉

Kels moved to Australia six years ago all the way from Alberta, Canada (insert picturesque mountain views to your imagination) and brings an impressive skill set of communications, media and design to the team.

Iza is originally from Poland and made the big move to Australia ten years ago and has come onboard as our Administration and Marketing Assistant (and we love the great pics she shares of her son Alexander and dog Rocket doing funny things).

Ayako (or Ayla for short) is Japanese and joins us as our Administration and Executive Assistant (and the office are often envious of her delicious home-cooked lunches).

Liv grew up in the rustic Kimberley region of WA and was working overseas with Contiki up until the early months of 2020 when COVID-19 first hit. She packed her bags and flew (very quickly) back to Australia where we nabbed her as our Administration and Operations Manager.

Some other exciting news in the office - we recently celebrated two of our wonderful residents anniversaries - YAY! 🥳

Darryl from Sime Darby and the lovely ladies Sharyn, Bailee, Kat and Danielle from IVET have been based at Leeder House for two years now.

We love having them as part of the Leeder House crew and look forward to continuing to support the awesome work they do.

We’ve also welcomed a friendly new face, Lisa from Barrels Marketing in our co-sharing space over the past few months. We look forward to seeing more of this lovely soul throughout the year. 😊

Harmony Week

Leeder House & Co celebrated Harmony Week earlier this month with residents bringing in a traditional dish from their place of birth.

There were delicious treats from all over the world such as Polish donuts, Australian meat pies and lamingtons, Canadian nanaimo bars, Sri Lankan fish croquettes and American favourites Oreos and Reese’s peanut butter cups.

It was great to see so many different cultures represented in the building and the morning tea spread was so impressive no one needed lunch that day… which left many regrets for some after eating too much.

We have ONE private office available! 🙀
