Greetings and salutations!
It has been a while, but we are glad to be back with many major and exciting updates! 🎉
We hope you’ve been well and keeping warm as Perth progresses through the winter months, having recently hit a year low of 2 degrees 🥶*brrr*.
There has been plenty happening over the past few months as the team take on new tasks and projects. Despite the recent reminder that COVID-19 is still a risk following lockdowns over east, we are maintaining all hygiene procedures, staying cautious and as a result we have been lucky enough to welcome some new faces to our meeting room.
We hope everyone is keeping well and safe during this ongoing challenging time.
This month the team at Leeder House & Co are partnering with Fair Game Australia to provide under-serviced communities in remote WA with recycled sporting equipment and shoes.
Fair Game Australia provides unique health and fitness programs using recycled equipment and financial donations to help build activities in under-serviced communities and encourage children to live healthy lifestyles. Offering a “recycle and donate” program, Fair Game are giving you the opportunity to give your old equipment a second life!
Since its inception in 2010, Fair Game Australia has grown to distribute over 40,000 recycled items kids in need – providing children with access to recycled equipment that encourage and promote healthy lifestyles.
Join our team at Leeder House, by giving your second-hand sporting equipment another life. All sporting equipment is welcome including soccer balls, footballs, bags, boots, shoes, team bibs, cones, hula hoops and skipping ropes or you can make a cash donation of your choice. We are collecting equipment from now until 13 August 2021 – it’s simple, drop off your recycled items or bring in a donation to our team at reception and we’ll deliver this to Fair Game Australia.
Did someone say Christmas in July?
The team cosied up in a private igloo and enjoyed a share-style feast and drinks at the Winter Village under twinkling lights and artificial snow.
❄️❄️❄️ Thanks for having us The Winter Village Perth! ❄️❄️❄️
Happy Birthday Leeder House!
Leeder House & Co recently celebrated its third birthday! 🥳
Happy belated birthday to us! What a wild ride it has been. Thank you to all of our residents who make our everyday that much more enjoyable.
We recently had Maddisen Booth from 7 West Media join us in the Leeder House meeting room to host a presentation on the launch of their new community newspaper, Perth Now. 🗞
Leeder House welcomes new residents Perlu.
It’s great to have local retail legends in our space and keeping us in style!
On that note, it’s been nothing short of difficult for some of our residents shopping addictions having their amazing clothes modelled in our office.
Leeder House has also welcomed a number of new superstars in the Harby Studios office. Karys, Eva, Nelly, Chessy, Erika and Dennielle have all joined the HS team and if you havent already, you'll be seeing their lovely faces around the office!
On a regretful note, we waved goodbye to our long-term resident Darryl from Sime Darby who recently moved out of Leeder House. We wish him all the best on his next endeavours and hope to see him around the place soon.👋🏼 👋🏼 👋🏼
Our very own resident Karys celebrated her birthday recently, we hope she had a very happy birthday and all her wishes come.
Although we may be a little late, July marked the start of a new financial year. A recent covid scare in Perth resulted in our EOFY celebrations being postponed. We are excited to announce the celebrations were rescheduled and we celebrated at the Camfield. A great night was had by all! 🍾💃
On the subject of all things finance, just a reminder to lock in good habits and smash your goals this financial year! 💰
